A week in a Chianti farmhouse: cooking classes, cellar visits and Renaissance Florence.
Base yourself in a restored 15th-century farmhouse in the Chianti hills and let Tuscany come to you. Cook with a local nonna, hunt for truffles with a farmer and his dog, and taste Brunello in the cellars where it ages.
Day trips take you to Siena's Campo, the towers of San Gimignano and the Uffizi in Florence, timed to avoid the crowds.
Meet in Florence and transfer to the farmhouse. Aperitivo on the terrace and welcome dinner.
Morning in Siena's medieval centre, afternoon drive through the clay hills to an organic olive oil mill.
Morning truffle hunt with lunch on the farm, then a pasta-making class back at the house.
Brunello tasting, the cypress roads of the Val d'Orcia and a stop in Pienza for pecorino.
Towers, gelato and Vernaccia. Free afternoon by the pool.
Early-entry Uffizi tour, then a free afternoon. Farewell dinner in a Florentine trattoria.
Transfer to Florence station or airport.
Not included: international flights, travel insurance, visas and personal spending. We can arrange all of these for you.
Per person, twin share. Solo travellers add $750 for a private room.
